RANGELAND/FORESTRY/WATER - Coordinated Resource Managment Plans (Program)

A group of people stands on a dirt road in a rural area, possibly discussing land or conducting a field study.

A collaborative approach to healthier rangelands, stronger wildlife habitat, and resilient watersheds.

The White River and Douglas Creek Conservation Districts offer Coordinated Resource Management Plans (CRMPs) to help landowners identify conservation priorities and implement practical, on-the-ground improvements across property boundaries.

Working collaboratively with landowners, federal grazing permittees, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Forest Service, Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), and other partners, the Districts help coordinate agency requirements, develop individualized management plans, and identify funding opportunities for conservation projects. These efforts may include vegetation treatments, water developments, and other conservation practices that improve rangeland productivity, wildlife habitat, and overall watershed health.
